Adelaide Hills Patients to Benefit from Better Medical GP Clinic in Mount Barker

Just two years after joining forces with Better Medical, Mount Barker Medical Clinic has now relocated to a fresh purpose-built site at Victoria Crescent Mount Barker.

The clinic, which has a long history in the community dating back to the 1800s, had well and truly outgrown its old premises and Better Medical stepped in to financially support the move.

Mount Barker Medical Clinic Site Manager Margaret Wheatley said the relocation from Gawler Street has been well received by Doctors, staff and patients.

“The new premise is fresh and inviting, and we’re really proud of the innovative space and the additional services we can now offer patients.

“We’ve been able to expand from six consulting rooms to 12, increase parking facilities and offer a treatment room and blood collection amenities on site,” Ms Wheatley said.

Mt Barker Medical Clinic can now offer the community more services in the one place, and thanks to the business support from Better Medical has been able to drive new initiatives for patients including the introducing of its new concierge model which has been well received by the community.
